ISI, a dynamic, well-established firm, is seeking a Business Exit Strategy Editor/Writer. The person in this position will edit and contribute to the writing of Exit Strategy Reports for business owners. The Editor/Writer will use analytical and writing skills to turn basic business and personal information into informative, engaging text that appeals to clients of all backgrounds and education levels.

 Essential Job Duties

Write detailed narratives using gathered information regarding Clients’ services and products, operational structure, customer base, marketing techniques, competition, employees, etc.

  • Edit reports for accuracy, quality, detail and grammar
  • Research and compose industry intelligence regarding trends, statistics, and future outlook for Clients’ business
  • Collaborate with Taxation and Financial Analysts, field consultants, and Senior Management to ensure the successful flow of pertinent information
  • Meet weekly deadlines and work with department members to ensure all reports are professionally written and delivered to Clients on time

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, English, Technical Writing or equivalent required
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in Business Editing/Writing or Journalism in related field
  • Must be proficient in the use of AP Stylebook guidelines
  • Must be self-motivated, and have a passion for journalistic and investigative endeavors, fact finding, and creating well-written, accurate and detailed reports
  • Must have an interest in today’s Business Climate, both regionally and globally
  • Extensive knowledge of and experience using MS Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook, and Access
  • Experience in accounting or financial services a plus
